Medium-Voltage Switching

MV Disconnectors & Insulators

Visible isolation, safe maintenance

Disconnectors switch a de-energised circuit in medium- and high-voltage systems, giving maintenance staff a visible isolation point. The disconnectors we supply comply with TS EN 62271-102 and come from ISO 9001 quality-assured production. They are available in indoor and outdoor types, with Normal, Earthed, Fused and Fused-Earthed functions.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between an MV disconnector and a circuit breaker?+

A disconnector provides a visible isolation gap for safe maintenance but does not interrupt load current, whereas a circuit breaker interrupts load and fault currents. The two operate in coordination.
